Dr. Coleman holds a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Denver, where he specialized in behavioral medicine and health psychology, and a master's degree in professional counseling from Denver Seminary specializing in couples and family. He is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the state of Colorado.

Dr. Coleman has worked in a variety of clinical settings including community mental health centers, private practice, counseling centers, non-profit agencies, elder care facilities, and forensic settings. He has also worked in primary care settings as part of an integrated treatment team, and has been an adjunct faculty member at the graduate level teaching research methods and statistics.

Dr. Coleman completed his master's internship at a university counseling center. He completed his pre-doctoral internship at Mental Health Centers of Denver in the Adult Outpatient Wellness Center working with the chronically and seriously mentally ill, homeless, and urban poor.

Dr. Coleman's provides individual and couples psychotherapy, group therapy, psychological testing, lifestyle and career counseling, and forensic assessments. He specializes in individual and couples therapy and employs a whole-person, mind-body approach in helping people overcome common problems in living. Emphasis is place on health and wellness, relationship intimacy, career and lifestyle balance, spirituality, and being an active member in one's community.

Dr. Coleman's professional qualifications also include over 25 years experience as a management and technology consultant, project manager, and business analysis. In addition to clinical services, Dr. Coleman provides behavioral health consulting services to organizations and business. He has provided organizational consulting and change management services to non-profit agencies.

Dr. Coleman is an expert in organizational assessment and strategy, operations analysis, quality improvement, program evaluation/design, systems implementation, and training. He also has significant experience in change management, talent/leadership development, organizational design, and coaching and mentoring.
