Premarital Counseling

familyWORKZ™ offers premarital counseling, which typically consists of 6-8 sessions of 90 minutes each meeting weekly or twice monthly. Homework assignments in a variety of areas (hey, they're fun!) are an essential ingredient to achieving your goals. We use a number of different resources and assessment tools, and focus on major themes like:

  • Faith,  Fidelity, & Finances
  • Friends & Leisure Time
  • Family of Origin
  • Communication
  • Conflict Resolution
  • Sex and Intimacy
  • Roles and Responsibilities
  • Expectations
  • Personality

The typical sequence is covered in 2 months, but we also tailor the approach to meet each couple's needs. The process can be shorter or longer depending on your goals and needs.
